I think they should be careful about people violating laws ,but when they do checkpoints and become overly strict,it creates a feeling like you're in a police state [is this North Korea? ] and I've experienced that with the Yellowstone Rangers myself [of all things, threatening towards me re Christian evangelism inside the park] they seem to have a little feeling that they are higher more Mighty than anybody else ,sometimes pretentious condescending sometimes perfunctory...they have mice jobs & begin to take people for granted sometimes
